Group/Team Development

Team Coaching

This is an agreed series of team sessions with one coach who will focus the team on their overall purpose and any strategic ambiguities that must be resolved in the organization. Simultaneously, the coach helps the team explore dynamic challenges, conflicts and opportunities the individuals in the team need to negotiate in their separate roles to achieve their joint purpose.

Action Learning Sets

Action learning sets establish an in-house or professional peer group of leaders trained to enhance their professional development by coaching each member in turn through challenges they are facing. The organizational and managerial knowledge of the group enhances the learning for all involved and provides a pragmatic and cost-effective way to share wisdom over the longer term. Participants are first trained in coaching skills and action learning process followed by a series of professional facilitated action set meetings in groups of up to 8 members. Over an agreed period the facilitator transfers her skills so that the group can continue by themselves.

Group facilitation

Special events for work groups, teams, stakeholders or focus groups. A facilitator leads an exploration of group working, performance improvement, team functioning or conflict situations that require a level of consensus or opinion sharing. There is usually an emphasis on supporting difficult communications to occur between group members, addressing challenging targets or situations and introducing creativity processes to generate new ideas.
